Know Your Prayers!

As we draw closer to the First Reconciliation workshop on Saturday, October 22, I would like to encourage you to focus your family prayer time on the prayers that your second graders are saying each week in their classes.  I have posted a great article titled “Encourage your child to pray” to the Resources tab of this blog.  If you have a minute, check it out to get some great ways to encourage your children to pray each day.

My challenge for our second graders is to include the following prayers in their daily prayer time:

  1. Our Father
  2. Hail Mary
  3. Glory Be
  4. Act of Contrition

You are all in my prayers!

Pictures Needed

In preparation for the First Reconciliation workshop, I would like to have a digital picture of your child for a special project I am working on.  If you would please email me a picture and put your child’s name as the file name of the picture as well as the subject line of the email, I would truly appreciate this.

Please send all pictures by Friday, October 14.

Welcome Parents of First Communicants!

Thank you for attending the First Communion Parent Meeting.  My goal is to use this blog to keep you informed of all that will take place during this year of sacrament preparation. Please take some time to familiarize yourself with the different tabs at the top of the page where you will hopefully find all of the answers to your questions.

Feel free to contact me at any time if you do not see what you are searching for.
